"Along the Garden Path"

In Loren's words:  "This cowboy was a good friend named Jack who lived on a really neat old farm and ranch with a beautiful old log barn.  He was gracious to let me use that barn as a backdrop in many paintings.  I painted the garden from my imagination and photo references I had of gardens.  The Gift Horse" used Jack's barn as a backdrop, among other paintings.  The horse portrayed in this painting was Jack's horse.  I also painted Jack and his team of horses in "A Cup of Kindness".
