This past summer, Loren was honored to be a part of the
National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum's effort to keep an oral record of the Museum's artists. The interview was conducted by Gerrianne Schaad and was filmed by Holly Hasenfratz, both from the Museum's
Dickinson Research Center. In their words, "a priority of the staff at the Dickinson Research Center of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is to collect, create and update records of contemporary artists of the American West. This effort is called the A. Keith Brodkin Contemporary Western Artists Project." They did an excellent job of showcasing Loren's studio, the paintings that grace the walls of his studio and the painting on his easel at the time, which was "
Workin the Shallows, Nate Wald, Wald Ranch, Lodge Grass, MT".
